Linden Farrer - Karolina Noworyta
inden Farrer is part of the team co-ordinating DRIVERS and is involved in EuroHealthNet’s on-going evaluation activities. His particular focus is on the relationship between income and social protection and its relationship to health and health inequalities. Previously at EuroHealthNet he was involved in an evaluation of cross-sectoral collaboration in the EU School Fruit Scheme, evaluation of the PROGRESS-funded Regions Tackling Health Inequalities (ReTHI) project, evaluation of member state and regional policy responses to health inequalities in the European Union, and helped develop the Healthy Ageing website and other communications materials. Within DRIVERS, he will work closely with other colleagues to develop work on advocacy methodologies. Karoline Noworyta joined the team in January 2014. Her role includes the advocacy functions of the European Platform for health and social equity (PHASE). She advocates for approaches for health improvement in all policies and programs and for health literacy, age-friendly environments and healthy ageing. Within the field of healthy ageing she is mainly involved in the coordination of the communication of the activities and research outcomes of the EU co-funded project IROHLA (Intervention Research on Health Literacy among Ageing population) and she supports AGE Platform Europe on the thematic network AFE-INNOVNET (Innovation for age-friendly environments in the European Union).
